How Much Does a Website Cost ?
Our services are many and varied and providing an all-encompassing standard charge is not possible.
We would always suggest you contact JBE to discuss the best options to suit your particular needs and budget.
To keep your costs to a minimum we would always suggest clients prepare their relevant paperwork and documents etc as much as possible, in advance of requesting JBE assistance.
The time you spend preparing, prior to our commencing your project, equates to costs saved by our clients.
A short project, or hour by hour services, generally cost more than half-day or full-day rates. Should you have a number of issues that require addressing, dealing with several together is likely to be more cost-effective.
If your desired service requires multiple staff resources, our staff costs are also reduced. For example, 2 staff members working together, at the same time, on a project would generally equate to a reduced individual rate.
No VAT is currently paid on our services. Check at the time of discussing to clarify our VAT status to ensure no change at a later date.
Do I Need To Sign A Contract ?
Generally, a contract is always best practice to ensure you receive the services/products you have requested and to reduce the risk of ambiguity at a later date.
Any contract will be clear, fair and reasonable for all parties.
For simple, quick and clear projects, a contract may not be required, subject to agreement by all parties.

What is a Domain & Hosting ?
A simple analogy is to think about renting business premises:
Hosting
This is the space that you have rented for your business premises to be located.
Website
This is YOUR office that you own and that can be moved to another location.
Domain
This is your address on the internet. Customers can find you via your www. yourdomain.com address.
TO CLARIFY
Without hosting; your website cannot be added to the internet.
Without a domain; your website cannot be found on the internet.
Without a website; domain name and hosting are not needed. Although you can continue to renew your own domain name registration for future use.
IMPORTANT
If you cancel your hosting, your site and all google listings etc will also disappear. You can arrange another hosting provider although a backup copy of your site will be required to be provided to your new hosting provider.
If your domain is not renewed, you will lose your address and it can, therefore, be purchased by a 3rd party and that cannot be undone.
A backup of your site must be kept before ending your hosting.
Can I Use My Existing eMail Address
If you wish to continue using your existing Google / Yahoo or similar email address, that is not a problem as JBE can utilise your domain email to divert to your existing account with no changes to your current routine.
We can also show how you may wish to provide every one of your clients with their own email address without any additional action.
The benefits are many, for both the client and the business owner.
Can I Manage my Own Website ?
The Content Management System, WordPress, used by JBE is very intuitive for users that wish to maintain and update their own website.
Should you wish to make regular updates/changes to your site, self-managing may be a worthwhile endeavour so long as you have the time to keep the site up to date.
We also offer client care packages should you wish to leave the more technical matters to JBE or should you decide at a later date that your time may be better used by generating more business.
